RSU tax hit was way bigger than expected

First big vest hit — $50k worth of RSUs. The tax withholding was 37% federal + state. I was expecting more like 22%. Turns out supplemental income is withheld at a flat rate regardless of your actual bracket. Wish someone had told me this earlier.
